After his one-game suspension  for walking off the court on Saturday, Aaron Brooks could possibly be on the move.

There are reports saying that Houston will not be moving him, but if the right deal comes along then something could happen.

Brooks is a restricted free agent after this season and a few teams could be looking to pick up an expiring contract.

It appears that Brooks is unhappy with his role in Houston. He would much rather be starting. Any player is going to feel that, but sometimes you have to suck it up and do what's best for the team. If he were traded, he'd probably end up in the same spot he is now, and it could be to a terrible team.

Nevertheless, if Brooks is on the move, here are 10 teams that would love to have this scoring point guard. This list is in no particular order.

10. Minnesota Timberwolves

It's no secret that Kevin Love has been dominating the boards this season. He's averaging a double-double with 21 points and 15 rebounds per game.

It's also no secret that the Timberwolves stink. They're 13-39 and headed to the lottery. The Timberwolves would love to have Aaron Brooks.

They haven't been getting solid play from their point guards at all this season. Luke Ridnour is doing alright, but Brooks could come in and help put more points on the board.

9. Sacramento Kings

The Kings have inquired about Brooks, but the Rockets weren't all that interested.

Adding Brooks would help the Kings out tremendously. Since Tyreke Evans moved over to the two spot, the point guard play for Sacramento has been lacking.

Brooks could easily come in and help Evans out with the scoring. The two would pair up and make one heck of a backcourt.

It will be difficult to get Brooks, but the Kings would love to have him.

8. New York Knicks

The Knicks are heavily pursuing Carmelo Anthony. They know that if they can get him, they have a shot at the title this year and for years to come. Anthony is a big star and other players will want to be around him, especially in the Big Apple.

To get Carmelo, they're might have to ship out Raymond Felton. If that happens, then the Knicks would gladly take Brooks. They could even try to get Houston in on a three-team trade if necessary.

The Knicks are interested, but as I said earlier, new reports are saying Brooks won't be on the move. NBA trade rumors are nothing but a guessing game.

7. Atlanta Hawks

While a deal between Houston and Atlanta is unlikely, it doesn't mean the Hawks wouldn't mind acquiring Brooks.

The Hawks need point guard depth. Mike Bibby is getting up there in age, and Jeff Teague just isn't playing well.

Obtaining Brooks would give the Hawks that extra push in the Eastern Conference. It would be just enough to get them into the second round, where they would then break the hearts of Atlantans. It's the same thing every year: tease us, then crush our hopes.

6. Detroit Pistons

The Pistons have been trying to move Richard Hamilton and Tayshaun Prince for a while now. It seems Hamilton is unhappy with the team. The Pistons would like to get rid of both players' larger contracts.

Detroit lacks a solid point guard. On its depth chart, the Pistons have Tracy McGrady listed as the starting point man. McGrady is not a point guard. The Pistons would love having Brooks come in and run the point for them. It would allow McGrady to shoot more and play the shooting guard role. If they can move Hamilton out, Detroit will have made a successful trade.

It won't be an easy trade, but Detroit could really use Brooks.

5. Oklahoma City Thunder

Aaron Brooks would not be happy with this, but the Thunder would love to have him. Brooks would give them great depth and excellent insurance should something happen to Russell Westbrook.

Oklahoma City knows it's going to make the playoffs. However, the Thunder don't know how far they can go. They'll tell you they can win a championship, but not with their current team. Adding Brooks gives them another guy who score whenever.

The Thunder would have to give up Eric Maynor, and they may not be okay with that. Maynor doesn't have the experience Brooks does, and sometimes you have to give up quality young players to get further down the line. A deal probably won't happen, but the Thunder would love to have Aaron Brooks.

4. Chicago Bulls

Derrick Rose is a phenomenal athlete. He is averaging 24 points and eight assists per game, which leads the Bulls in both of those categories.

If the Bulls want to make a run at the title, they would need to secure some more depth, especially at the point guard position. Adding Brooks would give Chicago great depth and some much-needed insurance.

Brooks would still be coming off the bench, which wouldn't make him happy. However, he'd be on a contender, and that has to put a smile on his face.

3. Los Angeles Lakers

PHOENIX, AZ - JANUARY 05: Derek Fisher #2 of the Los Angeles Lakers during the NBA game against the Phoenix Suns at US Airways Center on December 23, 2011 in Phoenix, Arizona. The Lakers defeated the Suns 99-95. NOTE TO USER: User expressly acknowledges

Derek Fisher isn't getting any younger. The Lakers would love to add the 26-year-old point guard for depth. Fisher would start every game, but they would share equal minutes. Brooks might even get more minutes because joining the reigning champs would make him play better.

Brooks wants to be a starter, but I'm sure he could live with coming off the bench if he knew he had a great chance at winning a championship. Derek Fisher and Steve Blake are playing great basketball at the moment. Adding Aaron Brooks would give the Lakers another guy who can score. A perfect fit, especially on Kobe Bryant's off nights.

2. Utah Jazz

The Jazz are a contending team out West that would love to have Brooks. He may not be happy going there because Deron Williams takes all the minutes at point guard.

However, acquiring Brooks would give the Jazz another scorer, which they desperately need. The Jazz could run with two points at times during the game and be perfectly alright. Brooks can score and the Jazz need that. Raja Bell is their starting shooting guard, and he only averages eight points a game.

If they brought in Brooks, he would player harder knowing he's on a better team. The Jazz are currently in sixth place in the Western Conference. They could increase that seed by adding Brooks. A trade here is unlikely, but that doesn't mean the Jazz wouldn't love Brooks joining their team.

1. Miami Heat

The big three of Miami are playing some great basketball. However, the Heat know they lack the depth a great championship team needs.

If they could somehow get Aaron Brooks, it would greatly improve their team. The "Heatles" aren't getting very good play from Mario Chalmers or Carlos Arroyo, as they're both averaging around five points and two assists per game.

I know that the big three get the ball more often, but Brooks is a more reliable scorer. He's had some attitude issues in the past, but joining the big three of Miami will make any player happy.  It would be hard for the Heat to pursue this because they lack the resources to make the trade.
