NBA on TNT: Boston Celtics vs. San Antonio Spurs, Dallas Mavericks vs. LA Lakers

The NBA and TNT provide basketball and sports betting fans with two thrilling matchups for tonight.

Boston Celtics (51-22) vs. San Antonio Spurs (57-17)

The best team in the league, record-wise, has now lost four straight games for the first time this season. Tim Duncan has now been sidelined for each of the last four games and is listed as a game-time decision for tonight's battle. Manu Ginobili is also listed as a game-time decision, while Tony Parker and Antonio McDyess are expected to return to the starting lineup.

The Celtics lost against the Pacers in their most recent game, and now have fallen short in three of their last four NBA betting games.

Boston lost to Memphis and Charlotte, each by three points or less, and picked up a three-point victory against the Wolves.

SBG Global.com Spread: San Antonio is +1.5

Prediction: The Spurs hold a league best 33-4 record at home, while Boston is 22-14 on the road. If Duncan can suit up for tonight's game and play effectively, the Spurs should be chosen to win this game. If Duncan does not play, the Celtics have the edge.

Dallas Mavericks (53-21) vs. Los Angeles Lakers (53-20)

Los Angeles is arguably the hottest team in the NBA as of right now, winning seven consecutive games.

They have just one loss in the month of March (against Miami), and have picked up victories against the Spurs, Magic and Mavericks during that span of time.

Dallas has picked up some steam as of late, winning five straight contests.

In their most recent game against the Lakers (at home), they fell short by five points.

Spread: Dallas is +6

Sportsbook Prediction: The Lakers are one of the best teams in the league at home and should be able to gut this one out, but will they be able to cover the spread? Dallas has played well enough as of late and should be chosen to cover.
