The Great Debate: Kobe Bryant or LeBron James, Who Is the Better Player?

Why Kobe is Better? 

Kobe Bryant is as good as anyone who has ever played the game. He has 5 championships, 1 regular season MVP, 3 all star game MVP's, and 2 NBA Finals MVP's. Kobe is known as the most clutch player in the NBA. He can shoot the ball, he can drive, he can drive fouls, he can do anything. And when playing against Lebron, he has better stats. He is considered to be the best Laker of all time and considering all the players the Lakers have had like Wilt Chamberlain, Magic Johnson, etc...., that is really good.

Why Lebron is Better?

Lebron is definitely the most athletic player in the NBA, no contest. But he doesn't have any championships. If you want to be the best player in the league, you have to have a championship win. I think the only reason he hasn't won a championship is because he hasn't been on a team with enough skill to get that far. He has won 2 regular season MVP's. Going into the 2010-2011 season, he will be around a Miami Heat team with enough skill to win a championship.

So who is better? 

Right now, I would say Kobe is better because of his history, but if Lebron can win his championship this year, I would change my mind and say Lebron is better.
