NBA Breaking News: Boston Celtics Agree To Terms With Nate Robinson

It has been reported via Boston.com that the Boston Celtics have agreed to terms with combo guard Nate Robinson.

The details of the contract have been said to be worth about $9 million over two years. 

Robinson was acquired by Boston back on February 18th, 2010 from the New York Knicks in exchange for guard Eddie House. 

Robinson was a key component on the Celtics bench by entering games with high energy and "instant offense." Although, "Nate the Great" averaged 6.5 point per game for the Green during the regular season, his impact was made in the playoffs. 

Robinson was a key player off the bench during Boston's playoff run to the NBA Finals last year. His most notable performance was in Game Five in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Orlando Magic where he put up 13 points and knocked down two three pointers. 

Throughout Boston's playoff run, Robinson always seemed to bring "instant offense." In almost every game he played in the Finals, Robinson would knock down a couple big three pointers while starting point guard Rajon Rondo was on the bench.

In my opinion, this is a great move by the Celtics. I know that they seem to be overpaying but, he's a very talented player who could start on other teams. Robinson is the perfect sixth man for Boston. He can come in and play along Glen "Big Baby" Davis, who have jelled quite nicely, while Rondo is resting on the bench.

This will be Nate's first full season in Boston, and I'm predicting it will be a great one.
