While LeBron James officially made his "decision" on live T.V., his mother is possibly regretting a "decision" that she made 25 years ago.
News broke out roughly a week ago regarding to a possible DNA cover-up scandal in which a man named Leicester Bryce Stovell attempted to prove that he was the father of "all hail mighty" LeBron James. (Great timing!)
Stovell is accusing LeBron and Gloria James of tampering with the DNA evidence and is now seeking $4 million from the James family, claiming fraud, defamation, and misrepresentation.
Stovell reportedly met Mama "Gloria" James all the way back in 1984 at a bar in the Washington, D.C. area.
That night Stovell and Mama, who was just 16 years of age at the time, supposedly had unprotected sex. (Rumors have also swarmed around the NBA about Gloria having sexual relations with LeBron's former teammate, Delonte West (a.k.a Mr. Leprechaun with herpes on his lip.)
Gloria James moved back to Ohio after the "one night stand" and months later returned to D.C. to inform Stovell that she was in fact pregnant.
Stovell says he vividly remembers telling her "Well if he's mine, make sure he plays basketball."
Stovell claimed in 2007 that he attempted to get in touch with Gloria, in which Ms. James stated over the phone that she didn't know who he was, threatening to have him "physically harmed."
Days after the phone call was made, LeBron James reportedly agreed to a DNA paternity test.
Stovell received documentation that he was indeed NOT the father of "The King" but believed that the results were "tampered with" by LeBron and Gloria James.
While Stovell has evidence of a possible cover-up, it looks more so than anything that he is simply seeking a massive pay day from the James family.
If Stovell finds out that he is LeBron's father, I strongly believe that he should not only take over the throne as "The King," but be awarded with all of LeBron James' success and credit, because at the end of the day Stovell was the one that told Gloria to make sure that LeBron plays basketball.
As the suitcase begins to "grow legs," NBA Primetime will "on top" to cover every move!
