Seriously I don’t care where LeBron James goes, do you?

Does it really matter where he goes? I don’t think so. Why you may ask? He isn’t winner.

I said it, he isn’t a winner.

LeBron didn’t go to the 2010 dunk contest, why? He pouted during the NBA playoffs, why? He was knocked out of the NBA playoffs by a weaker team, why? He isn’t a winner. He isn’t a leader. He is just a good player.

It may be a tough fact to swallow for fans of LeBron James to swallow but it does take more than just talent to become one of the elite. The NBA is a business and LeBron isn’t a business man. He is just a good player. As such he won’t make the best decision for himself during his free agency no matter where he goes.

If LeBron stays in Cleveland and doesn’t win a championship it will be his fault. If he goes to another team with an established roster he won’t get to the finals for a couple of years at best as it will take time for him and the team to gel if they gel at all. If he joins a team that made it to the finals this past year he will just be the player that helped that team over a small bump they may have overcome without him in future years all by themselves.

Really who cares? LeBron will not become a great player until his attitude towards the game, and the business of the game, changes. I wouldn’t want him on my team….I want a winner. I want someone who lives, breathes, eats, and dreams about winning. I want someone who will take any challenge no matter the odds. I want a player who is vocal. LeBron does none of these things.

No matter where LeBron goes it will be the same story. The real story should be when his attitude changes. When he starts to care maybe I will too.
