What are the Knicks
plans for this summer? We all know they have the most money to spend this summer, with a little over $56 million. Donny Walsh and the Knicks have many ways to spend their money, and the biggest splash they can make, would be to sign LeBron James. It is a known fact that James loves the Big Apple, but he still isn't sure that NY is the best place to win a championship. Going a little off topic here, but CC Sabathia made the move to New York almost two years ago and look how it turned out for him. It also helps that CC and LeBron are very good friends, if thats any type of a negotiation factor.
My Views and Thoughts
- The best way for LeBron to come to New York is if he wins a championship with Cleveland this year, which is looking pretty good so far. If James wins a championship this year, then there is no rush to win one right away with the Knicks. If that happens, then the Knicks will have a couple of year to build team chemistry with the new guys they plan on bringing in.
- Honestly, if you really want LeBron in New York, you need to bring another star to play along side him. Can you possible imagine the duo the Knicks could have, with LeBron and lets say Dwyane Wade! If this combination came to New York, there would definitely be a championship stench in the Big Apple.
- LeBron James is a big star and New York is where stars preform and thrive.
Like Cleveland, James will be the go to guy in New York so I really do not see much changing for his fantasy production. James is a top player in fantasy so his production will always be at a max no matter where he is.
