Channing Frye Says WWE Should 'Hola At' Steven Adams When He Retires
Los Angeles Lakers forward Channing Frye suggested Monday that Oklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams may have a future in professional wrestling.
Frye tweeted that WWE should pursue Adams once his NBA career comes to an end:
During Monday's Game 4 between the Thunder and Utah Jazz, Adams absorbed a stiff elbow on the chin from Jazz forward Jae Crowder, and it didn't seem to faze him:
Adams was seemingly attempting to play peacemaker during an argument between Crowder and Carmelo Anthony before the blow, and Crowder was ejected for his actions.
Crowder and the Jazz got the last laugh, though, as they won 113-96 to take a 3-1 lead in their first-round series.
The 7-foot Adams is rapidly improving, and he is in the midst of his best season to date (13.9 points and 9.0 rebounds per game).
There doesn't appear to be an end in sight to the big Kiwi's basketball career, though his physicality and toughness suggest he would be right at home in the squared circle.
