16-Time Grammy Winner Sting to Headline 2016 NBA All-Star Game Halftime Show
As players and fans await the announcement of the reserves for the 2016 NBA All-Star Game, the league has revealed Sting will perform the halftime show at Toronto's Air Canada Centre.
With plenty to choose from, the 16-time Grammy winner will be performing a compilation of his greatest hits. "Roxanne" and "Every Breath You Take" are among the most popular songs he did with the Police.
Going with the 64-year-old Sting is a big shift from last year's performer, pop star Ariana Grande, but it's sure to be a good show.
Of course, many fans were hoping that Drake would be the featured performer, given the rapper is the Toronto Raptors' global ambassador, or perhaps even Toronto native the . Instead, the league has decided to turn back the clock and treat fans to some classics.
Cirque du Soleil will provide an opening performance.
The 2016 NBA All-Star Game coverage will begin on Feb. 14 at 8 p.m. ET on TNT.
