On Monday, San Antonio Spurs mastermind Gregg Popovich was named the NBA Western Conference Coach of the Month for December.

Not that he cares, though.

As Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News noted, Pop wants at least some marginal compensation for the award:

A car? C'mon, coach.

The Spurs went on a 14-2 tear in December, and the team doesn’t figure to take its foot off the gas any time soon.
