Warriors Bringing Back Hardwood Classics 'The City' Jerseys in 2015-16 Season

Kyle NewportMay 31, 2018

The Golden State Warriors are going to be kicking it old school for a handful of games this season, bringing back uniforms that are sure to delight fans.

The reigning NBA champions will once again be wearing their Hardwood Classics "The City" jerseys, something they did as recently as the 2010-11 season. Not only that, but Oracle Arena's center-court logo will also be changed for Hardwood Classics nights.

Golden State's first Hardwood Classics night of the season will be Nov. 17:

In total, the Warriors will wear "The City" jerseys eight times during the 2015-16 season. They will wear them five times at home and three times on the road. Here are the dates:

  • Nov. 17 vs. Toronto Raptors
  • Nov. 24 vs. Los Angeles Lakers
  • Dec. 8 at Indiana Pacers
  • Jan. 9 at Sacramento Kings
  • Jan. 18 at Cleveland Cavaliers
  • March 1 vs. Atlanta Hawks
  • March 29 vs. Washington Wizards
  • April 5 vs. Minnesota Timberwolves

Former Warriors star Jason Richardson will be honored at the Nov. 24 game.

In a day and age in which teams are adding numerous alternate uniforms, it's cool to see throwbacks make an appearance.
