Drake Experienced Untold Rapture After Getting Pushed by Paul Pierce
Journeyman sports fan and Toronto hood ornament Drake was in the building for Wednesday night’s Toronto Raptors-Washington Wizards game, and judging by all visual evidence, he experienced greater satisfaction than most of us will ever know after a brief run-in with Paul Pierce.
Sitting courtside with 12 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, Drake appeared to exchange words with the Wizards forward. Pierce, who was more worried about inbounding the ball for Washington’s final possession, responded with a little shove and maybe—just maybe—the ghost of a smile.
TotalProSports.com’s JamieD spotted footage of the exchange. Pierce appears to tell Drake to “stop”—a plea that nearly left Drake incapacitated.
Pictured: cheesing.
This pal-around moment stands distinctly apart from images taken earlier in the contest, where it appeared as though somebody had pulled the football before Drake tried to kick it.
Toronto went on to win 95-93. Even better, Drake got to goof around with his good buddy Pierce, an NBA fixture of cheer and good old-fashioned fun. Great times!
Dan is on Twitter. He wishes he could be as happy about anything as Drake was about being pushed.
