Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reports that while a specific punishment hasn't been handed down, Lawson won't be available Friday night:
Lawson is the Nuggets' leading scorer at 16.7 points per game this season. He's appeared in 41 games, also chipping in nearly 10 assists and better than three rebounds on average. This marks his sixth season with the franchise after spending his collegiate career at North Carolina.
