Damian Lillard Evaporated Some Poor, Foolish Lakers Fan on Twitter

Dan CarsonJan 15, 2015

Smart Los Angeles Lakers fans are spending the 2014-15 season in a foxhole.

They know it’s over, have accepted their interim crappiness and are looking forward to next year, which will hopefully include the landing of a solid lottery pick and the return of a healthy Julius Randle. Most understand that the Lakers' house is currently one of the glassier properties on the block, and they plan to wait it out before returning to their regularly scheduled stone-slinging.

But then there’s Kevin, a Lakers fan who made the unwise decision to step to the Wu and call out the Portland Trail Blazers' Damian Lillard over Twitter.

Tweeting from the handle @st_aubin1979, Kevin started talking trash Wednesday night. Namely, he questioned Lillard’s clutchness against quality opponents.

This was unwise.

Here’s Lillard’s response again, from a different angle.

Don’t incite the Lillard. He will parse your Twitter, find your weaknesses and exploit them. If your hair has retreated so far north your barber needs snowshoes to line you up, maybe don’t talk about his game.

Nonetheless, Kevin still thinks that with his criticism, Lillard might one day be good at basketball.

Poor Kevin. He was left a smoking crater and doesn’t even know it.
