Lopez Diagnosed With Lower Back Strain

Brooklyn Nets fans have read this story before. Brook Lopez is set to miss time with injury.
According to Sean Highkin of Pro Basketball Talk, Lopez had an MRI, which showed he's suffering from a lower back strain. The Nets will have him reevaluated in a week.
Into his seventh year in the league, the 26-year-old has built a reputation for being injury-prone. He missed 65 games last year and 61 in the lockout-shortened 2011-12 campaign. He's never been too far away from the next medical problem.
When he's healthy, Lopez is among the best offensive big men in the league. He's averaging 16.1 points and 6.2 rebounds in 30.1 minutes on the floor this year.
