John Wall's Daily Routine Includes Drinking 2 McDonald's Hot Chocolates
Every athlete has a normal routine. As long as it works, nobody can judge them for what they do.
Washington Wizards star John Wall is one athlete who tries to stick with what works. The point guard toldย The Washington Post'sย Dan Steinbergย heย drinks two large hot chocolates from McDonald's every day:
"Iโve been doing this since I was little. Even in the summer time when it be hot as hell, Iโll be still drinking it. ...
... I just like hot chocolate that much. Itโs a habit. I have one before the game and one in the morning. Ifย I donโt get one in the morning [on off days], Iโll at least get two after practice to go home.
"
That's a lot of hot chocolate every year.
The Wizards star doesn't drink the hot chocolates plain, however. He adds "only like one or two" sugar packets to the drinks.
โNot too much," Wall said. "They make it extra chocolatey and stuff, so itโs good.โ
If you want proof that Wall really does love the drink, Steinberg spotted him with one during an interview:
Wall started the habit in grade school but doesn't know why. All he knows is that the hot chocolates have been good to him. Drinking hot chocolates helped him become the No. 1 pick in the 2010 NBA draft, so it looks like it's a good habit.
