Shabbat Shalom: Friday Wrap-Up

I interviewed Leigh Steinberg on Wednesday. We were only supposed to talk for 20 minutes. Instead, it took an hour and 20 minutes before the conversation was over. Besides that, I am done with 2 of my 3 Spring semester finals (goodbye Contracts and Civil Procedure). That means that there is only 1 test left (Property) before you can officially refer to me as a 2L. The headaches from my concussion are starting to subside and my overall health is beginning to improve. Still no taste or smell, but I am keeping up hope! Anyway, here are some stories that I missed this past week:

• David Falk donated $5 million to Syracuse Univ. to establish the David B. Falk Center for Sport Management [Names in the Game].

• Will Chris Long be able to get that “5 dollar footlong” song out of my head? [J. Long gets deal with Dolphins; C. Long with Subway]
• Add another Jayhawk to Mark Bartelstein’s always expanding list of clients [Rush’s agent familiar with KU].
• Anyone want to take a “poor man’s Andre Iguodala” in the 2008 NBA Draft? [Antonio Anderson Entering the Draft]
• 1 year of Junior College play, 6 arrests in 26 months…sure, enter your name into the NBA Draft as well [Former top prep recruit Brumbaugh to enter NBA draft].
• A couple of Longhorns want to get in on this NBA action as well [Texas guards Augustin, Abrams decide to enter NBA draft].
• Sports blogger Jeff Wong coined April 22nd, NBA Blah Day. Feeling blah with my Miami Heat, I contributed to his article [Four-Point Play: Today Is NBA Blah Day].
