Sure, our teams aren’t any meaningful postseason activity, but the arch rivals of our teams are. And they are demonstrating a propensity for failure that we should relish.

LeBron James and the hated Cleveland Cavaliers have been denied a trip to the NBA Finals. The real life King James is acting like a spoiled child, while Puppet LeBron is totally devastated.

On the ice, the despised Pittsburgh Penguins are exactly who we thought they would be against the Detroit Red Wings.

They’ve flopped in the first two games of the Stanley Cup Finals, and have looked nothing like the formidable offensive team that knocked off the Washington Capitals.

No, it’s not a done deal in the series, but the smell of inevitability is in the air.
