Joakim Noah continued his excellent season by recording a triple-double and leading the Chicago Bulls to a 93-82 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers at the United Center Thursday night.
Noah was an absolute monster in the middle, leading all scorers with 23 points while adding 21 rebounds and an incredible 11 blocks.
The Bulls were 4-8 during February heading into the contest, and needed some type of spark heading into March. Noah answered the call in a big way.
Carlos Boozer ensured that the team’s starting frontcourt had a complete evening and had 21 points and 12 rebounds.
For the Sixers, Spencer Hawes impressed with 20 points and 15 rebounds, while Jrue Holiday led the team with 22 points on 10-of-19 shooting.
But it wasn’t enough to earn a victory after Noah’s incredible night.

Noah is known as one of the best defensive big men in basketball, and his 11-block performance proved exactly why.
He can fill up a stat sheet like few other players at his position, and this was one of the finest performances of his career.

The Sixers drop to 22-34 after losing their second consecutive game. The team will return home to take on the Golden State Warriors on Saturday.

The victory puts the Bulls at 32-25 on the season. After a dismal February, Chicago will try to start March off on a high note at home against the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday.
