Sacramento Kings vs. New York Knicks 2/2/13: Video Highlights and Recap
After a close first quarter, the New York Knicks thoroughly dominated the Sacramento Kings and ended up winning 120-81.
The Knicks were helped by a dominant second quarter in which they pleased the home crowd by outscoring their opponent 31-11.
They were impressive in every phase of the game, despite getting only nine points and three rebounds out of Carmelo Anthony.
Instead, they got some impressive performances from the frontcourt. Tyson Chandler had 20 rebounds, while Amar'e Stoudemire finished with 21 points on 10-of-10 shooting.
DeMarcus Cousins had a big day for the Kings with 25 points and nine rebounds, but he got little help as his team fell apart early.

Player of the Game: J.R. Smith
J.R. Smith has been a spark off the bench all season for the Knicks, but he had one of his best performances of the year on Saturday.
The guard made seven of his 14 shots from behind the arc and led the team with 25 points. He also added six rebounds, four assists and two steals.
Most impressively, the Knicks finished plus-36 points when he was on the floor, signifying his value in the game.
The Knicks would like to continue their four-game win streak on Monday against the Detroit Pistons. A home game against a struggling team would certainly make things easy.
Sacramento has lost seven of their last eight games, and a road trip against the Utah Jazz is unlikely to help. Hopefully, the squad can overcome one of the toughest home courts in the NBA and turnaround the recent struggles.
