Timberwolves Celebrate Holidays in Awesome Video, Nikola Pekovic Likes Meat
The Minnesota Timberwolves would like to share their favorite holiday traditions with you. Trust me, you will be glad they did.
A tip of the hat to The Basketball Jones for spotting what should quickly turn into a widely-quoted viral video.
I look at crazy stuff from the Internets all day, so I hardly ever LOL, but was rolling at the 38-second mark when Nikola Pekovic is asked what his favorite holiday meal is.
He answers with, "meat."
Guffaws continue as the announcer answers back with, "yes, meat is good."
There is no word on what his favorite alcoholic beverage might be, but my hunch is liquor. As far as appetizers go, he may enjoy a nice chicken, possibly a finely prepared pork.
And doesn't he talk about meat with such enthusiasm?
The rest of the video is just as priceless, starting with Ricky Rubio, who is dressed like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and dishes on his delightful soup.
Stick around for the Timberwolves singing along to the popular anthem, giving praise to that reindeer who once guided Santa's sleigh.
Thankfully, it's delivered horribly to continue with the wonderful theme of this magical video, which is giving Holiday cheer no matter how awkward it may be.
Also, if you see Pekovic, give him some meat. The man goes positively lukewarm for the stuff.
