Big Bad Al Jefferson Demands a Big Bad Bed to Sleep In
Al Jefferson has a particular side of the bed he sleeps on, and it's miles wide.
It's no surprise that NBA players and other professional athletes enjoy some ridiculous luxuries every now and then, but Jefferson's giant bed may be one of our favorites.
The Basketball Jones spotted an image that rests comfortably in that sweet spot bridging adorable and hilarious.

That is 6'1" Mo Williams lounging in the behemoth bed of 6'10" teammate Al Jefferson. The Jazz player tweeted that absurdity out to the masses and we are so glad he did.
"That pic didn't do it justice twitter.com/mowilliams/sta…

That pretty much leaves so much room for activities.
Here is the initial tweet with a picture that doesn't truly show the massiveness of this bed.
"Look at Big Al bed. This Shis crazy instagr.am/p/QbNgAAnfch/
— Mo Williams (@mowilliams) October 6, 2012"
Reporter Spencer Ryan Hall, who covers the Jazz for SaltyCityHoops.com, tweeted that the most ridiculous part of this bed isn't the size, but the price.
Any mattress is going to come with a hefty cost, but this receipt is just absurd.
"@treykerby You neglected to post the most important detail about that bed: twitter.com/saltcityhoops/…
— Spencer Ryan Hall (@saltcityhoops) October 10, 2012"
As for size, NESN reports the bed is 12 feet long and 10 feet wide, or roughly the size needed for one Al Jefferson who must have a serious case of the jimmy legs.
While making the bed takes roughly several hours, we do see one advantage. Leaving the alarm clock on the other side of the bed makes it nearly inaudible, making for a restful sleep.
Genius.
