Scottie Pippen received quite the surprise when Michael Jordan showed up at his 47th birthday party in Chicago.
There is no word yet whether "His Airness" jumped out of a cake or not. I will just assume that he did.
The New York Post reports a bunch of older rich people who used to be younger basketball stars joined together at Chicago's Sunda to surprise one of the greatest defenders in NBA history, and one hell of a Robin to Jordan's Batman, Scottie Pippen.
Here is the report, with one little tidbit really getting my imagination going.
Bulls family, including team president Michael Reinsdorf and his wife, Nancy, NBA power broker William “World Wide Wes” Wesley, Antoine Walker, Ahmad Rashad, and new Bulls recruit and Chicago native Nazr Mohammed gathered to celebrate at the club with Pippen. Sources told us the fun night ended with a dance-off between Jordan and Pippen to the Trey Songz and Fabolous song, “Say Ahh.”
For those initiated, here is the song, "Say Ahh." You could almost see the dynamic duo who ruled the NBA through the '90s bobbing and weaving to this tune.
I would just like to know what kind of dance-off we are talking about here.
Was it something like Kid 'n Play teaming up to bring the house down, obviously dressed in hyper-color suits?
Or was it a full-on battle?
I can only imagine Jordan pop-locking to the hook while Nazr Mohammed does the worm in the background.
This is me asking—no, pleading—for video from any of you who might have it. We simply have to see a couple of near-50-year-olds engaged in rhythmic war.
