Charles Barkley Video: Watch Sir Charles' Uncensored Rant on Poor People
Sir Charles Barkley is at it again. This time, the victim of his rant is a homeless man who tried to punk out the NBA Hall of Famer.
To set the scene, Barkley and the TNT crew are setting up for their show while a large crowd grows around the stage in front of the Staples Center in Los Angeles. This is quite normal for any set.
Things get funny when a homeless man verbally attacks Sir Charles and actually leaves him speechless for a moment. This video is what Barkley said when he was ready to talk.
As the crowd starts to get into the back-and-forth verbal jousting match, Barkley starts talking about how someone as poor as the man berating him makes him laugh and angry all at the same time. This is further proof that even Barkley doesn’t know what he’s saying at times.
That’s where the line, “If you ain’t rich, don’t talk” came from.
Sir Charles isn't talking trash on homeless people or putting them down—he is reacting to one man that was attacking him in public. Just as much as the man had a right to run down Barkley, the NBA legend has the right to verbally retaliate.
If we learned one thing over the years, Barkley’s words can hurt as much as the punches he will throw. Maybe not.
Either way, there was no malicious intent and he was just trying to defend himself. He is getting ready for work and has a homeless man yelling at him.
Like Charles says, you know it’s going to be a bad day when homeless guys start talking trash to you.
