Fantasy Football: Early Positional Rankings for NFL Week 17

Saints quarterback Drew Brees (4,781 yards passing, 40 TD) has accounted for 300 yards passing or multiple touchdowns in every game this season.

Here are my positional rankings for quarterbacks, tailbacks, wide receivers and tight ends heading into Week 17 (standard-scoring leagues).

For the record, I detest any fantasy league that carries over to the final weekend of the regular season. Subsequently, I would have zero empathy for anyone who gets hosed out of a title on Sunday after one of their big-ticket, playoff-bound starters sits the final two or three quarters of a meaningless finale.

Hopefully that won't be the case, though. Good luck this weekend.
