NFL Power Rankings: Teams That Will Fall Significantly After Week 10
Power rankings in the National Football League seem to change significantly every week because of the parody with 32 teams. This week, however, will have several teams slide significantly down the rankings. Here are a few that will fall the farthest.
We don’t really know if Tennessee will contend in the AFC South this season. They looked like they would when they defeated the Baltimore Ravens, but they didn’t look ready when they choked against the Houston Texans at home.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
At 4-4, this week’s game against the Carolina Panthers will be a game that sends Tennessee down the power rankings.
Carolina has been close on several occasions this season, against quality teams, but they haven’t been able to put together 60 minutes of football against good football teams. They finally piece together a complete football game to defeat an average NFL opponent.
I’m extremely hesitant to say a Bill Belichick-led team will fall significantly in the NFL power rankings, but they would if they were to lose to the New York Jets. It would be their third consecutive loss of the season.
Something isn’t clicking for New England this season and it’s hard to put your finger on it. Maybe it’s the weird acquisitions of Albert Haynesworth (cut this week) and Chad Ochocinco. The Patriots never reach in free agency like they did this offseason, and it seems to be putting a damper on the team.
Maybe it’s the fact that their defense can’t stop anyone? That could be it, too, right? Whatever it is, they better get it fixed soon before they dig themselves a hole they can’t get out of.
Their slide continues against a thriving Jets team.
Cincinnati has been the surprise team in the AFC this season. Do you believe in them? I don’t. I can’t.
The only quality team they have defeated is the Buffalo Bills at home. But is Buffalo a “quality team” or are they overrated, too?
Jacksonville, Indianapolis, Seattle, Cleveland and Tennessee are not close to being top-tier teams. We will learn so much more about how good the Bengals are this season when the Pittsburgh Steelers come to town.
Pittsburgh is hungry after their loss to the Baltimore Ravens. They are more than ready to take on Andy Dalton. Rookie QBs have been feasted on by past Steelers teams and this week won’t be any different.
This will be the week when we take a step back and call Cincinnati frauds.
