NFL Power Rankings: Jacksonville Jaguars and Teams That Will Squander Momentum
Teams move up and down the NFL's pecking order on a weekly basis, but the best teams have one thing that the others don't, and that thing is consistency. Any team is capable of winning a big game one week, but the question is whether it can repeat that success.
A number of teams will have the opportunity to show consistency, and while some may do so, others will fail miserably. Here are three teams that will be unable to build on the momentum they gained by winning last week.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Cleveland Browns may not seem like the most impressive team, but at 3-3, they have found a way to hang in there and are just 1.5 games behind the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC North with plenty of divisional games left to play.
Cleveland was able to score an uninspiring 6-3 win over the Seattle Seahawks, but a win is a win in the NFL. I don't think the momentum from that win will be enough to help the Browns against the 5-1 San Francisco 49ers this week, though. As long as the Niners are adequate offensively, they should have no problem taking down the punchless Browns.
Despite a 2-5 record, the Carolina Panthers have been very impressive this season and have clearly improved since last year. The Panthers have stayed within seven points in three of their four losses, and are coming off a solid win over the Washington Redskins.
The biggest reason for Carolina's success has been the play of rookie quarterback Cam Newton. The Panthers live and die by Newton and he has already proven to be one of the league's best signal callers. He should have a big game against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 8, but Carolina's soft run defense will prove to be its downfall as Adrian Peterson and the Vikings run wild en route to victory.
Prior to last week the Jacksonville Jaguars seemed to be well on their way to a top-five pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. They shockingly stood tall against the Baltimore Ravens on the "Monday Night Football" stage and came away with a hard-fought 12-7 upset victory.
Much of Jacksonville's success on Monday had to do with the ineptitude of Baltimore's offense. When the Jags take on the Houston Texans this week, though, the Jaguars will have to earn it. The Texans bounced back from two consecutive losses in a big way last week by dismantling the Tennessee Titans. Wide receiver Andre Johnson will likely still be out, but quarterback Matt Schaub and elite running back Arian Foster should be enough to get the job done.
