2011 NFL Draft Results: Top 50 Players Who Landed in the Best Situation
The 2011 NFL Draft is over, and some players landed in better spots than others; not every team drafts needs, and not every player inherits the perfect situation.
For some teams and players there could be a big learning curve, while for others they could step in and play immediately.
Let's take a look at the 50 players who landed in the best situations.
Von Miller: OLB, Denver Broncos
1 of 50
Miller will be the cornerstone in a rebuilding Broncos defense for years to come.
Patrick Peterson: CB, Arizona Cardinals
2 of 50
The Cardinals plan to blitz more next season, and Peterson will make them feel more comfortable doing it with him on the outside.
Tyron Smith: OT, Dallas Cowboys
3 of 50
Smith will step in immediately to help the Cowboys' line.
Blaine Gabbert: QB, Jacksonville Jaguars
4 of 50
Gabbert won't have to play right away and can learn from David Garrard.
Nick Fairley: DL, Detroit Lions
5 of 50
Fairley should see good numbers next season thanks to Ndamukong Suh playing right next to him.
Mike Pouncey: C/G, Miami Dolphins
6 of 50
The Dolphins want to run the ball better, and Pouncey is the perfect guy to help them do that.
Nate Solder: OT, New England Patriots
7 of 50
Solder is a good fit in the organization he is entering, so expect good things from him.
Prince Amukamara: CB, New York Giants
8 of 50
A steal for the Giants here, Amukamara can come in next year and be a solid guy on the outside.
Anthony Costanzo: OT, Indianapolis Colts
9 of 50
Peyton will feel relieved to have Costanzo blocking his blindside.
Cameron Jordan: DE, New Orleans Saints
10 of 50
Jordan will be put in play immediately to put pressure on opposing quarterbacks.
Jimmy Smith: CB, Baltimore Ravens
11 of 50
Smith has had some off-the-field trouble, but he's going to the perfect locker room where guys like Ray Lewis can keep him in check.
Mark Ingram: RB, New Orleans Saints
12 of 50
Mark Ingram will be able to come in and create a nice balance in the Saints' backfield.
Gabe Carimi: OT, Chicago Bears
13 of 50
Jay Cutler was hit more than any other QB last year. Carimi can make sure he stays upright more often.
Aaron Williams: CB, Buffalo Bills
14 of 50
Aaron Williams will help the Bills immediately improve in the secondary.
Andy Dalton: QB, Cincinnati Bengals
15 of 50
If Carson Palmer stays it will benefit Dalton, but if he doesn't, Dalton will still be able to throw to guys like A.J. Green and Chad Johnson.
Ryan Williams: RB, Arizona Cardinals
16 of 50
The Cardinals want to run the ball more, and with Hightower probably gone, Williams can help right away.

Stefen Wizniewski: C, Oakland Raiders
21 of 50
His dad was an all-pro for the Raiders, so how is this not a good fit?
Benjamin Ijalana: OT, Indianapolis Colts
22 of 50
Another security guard for Peyton Manning. I'm sure both sides are happy here.
Da'Quan Bowers: DE, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
23 of 50
The Bucs get a steal here, and Bowers joins a pretty young, but up-and-coming defensive line.
Marvin Austin: DT, New York Giants

Smith is the speed receiver Joe Flacco has been waiting for.
Daniel Thomas: RB, Miami Dolphins
28 of 50
The Dolphins like to run the ball and use the Wildcat formation; Thomas should fit in just fine.
Randall Cobb: WR, Green Bay Packers
29 of 50
Like the Packers needed more offensive firepower, but Cobb can help as a receiver and in the return game.
Justin Houston: DE, Kansas City Chiefs
30 of 50
Houston has a ton of talent, and I think Romeo Crennel will be able to get it out of him.
DeMarco Murray: RB, Dallas Cowboys
31 of 50
Murray should fit in nicely with the Cowboys' system, as he has playmaking ability.
Ryan Mallett: QB, New England Patriots

Whoever the QB is in Washington, they'll like having Hankerson as a target.

46 of 50
Although there are concerns over a health scare, Cannon finds a nice home with the Patriots and their o-line.

47 of 50
Klug can play a few positions, which should be good for the Titans' d-line.
Jacquizz Rodgers: RB, Atlanta Falcons

Rodgers is a shifty running back who should complement Michael Turner well in Atlanta.
Quan Sturdivant: ILB, Arizona Cardinals

If he stays healthy, Sturdivant will fight for playing time at the linebacker spot in Arizona.
Tyler Sash: S, New York Giants
50 of 50
