NY Giants at Washington Redskins
With all due respect to the Thursday night opener between the Green Bay Packers and the New Orleans Saints, there is a better game to tune into.
The game between the New York Giants and the Washington Redskins will have everything that a football fan could ask for on the opening week of football. These teams are division rivals and the game will mean something in the standings, but there is a bigger reason to tune into this game.
This game will be held on September 11th which is the tenth anniversary of the attack on the United States. It only seems fitting that a game is played in DC and the visiting team is from New York. Emotions will be riding high in this game.

New York Jets at New England Patriots
The New York Jets will have the best game of the week in back-to-back weeks as they take on the New England Patriots.

The defending Super bowl champions will welcome the St. Louis Rams to town in week six.
The matchup to watch will be at quarterback where Aaron Rodgers will go up against the young gunslinger in Sam Bradford. If the Rams are going to be serious contenders in the NFL, this could be a pivotal game.
Week Seven

Indianapolis Colts at New Orleans Saints
Peyton Manning returns to New Orleans to take on Drew Brees and the Saints. The quarterbacks will take center stage in this slug fest as this easily gets the nod as the best game on the slate. This rematch of the Super bowl will be exciting to tune into.

Week Eight
8 of 17
New England Patriots at Pittsburgh Steelers
Two of the best teams square off in week eight when the New England Patriots take on the Pittsburgh Steelers. Although the Steelers went to the Super bowl a year ago, they will certainly remember when Brady and Co came to town in 2010.
The Patriots won the game 39-26, but it was not as close as the score would indicate. The Steelers will be ready for revenge in this clash of the titans.
Week Nine
9 of 17
Green Bay Packers at San Diego Chargers
The Packers and the Chargers will barely beat out the Ravens and the Steelers for the game of the week. These two offenses will have the potential to put up 80 combined points making it a must see game for fans of high powered offenses.
Phillip Rivers against Aaron Rodgers makes this the game to watch in week nine.
Week Ten
10 of 17
New Orleans Saints at Atlanta Falcons
This late in the season, this game could go a long way in deciding who wins the NFC South.ย Both meetings in 2010 were decided by three points or less and one of the games went into overtime.
This game has the potential to go down to the wire and is the best game in week ten. ย
Week Eleven
11 of 17
Kansas City Chiefs at New England Patriots
This Monday night game between two talented teams in the AFC will be a homecoming of sorts. Matt Cassel comes back to his old stomping grounds along with several players and coaches that had success with New England.

Itโs the Thanksgiving holiday and nothing goes better with turkey than the NFL.ย The game between the Dolphins and the Cowboys could be entertaining if both teams are still in the hunt for a playoff spot.
There may be better games on the schedule this week, but football on Thanksgiving Day cannot be beat.
Week Thirteen
13 of 17
Indianapolis Colts at New England Patriots
The Colts vs. Patriots rivalry is always must see football. This matchup has become a mainstay on the NFL schedule as the Peyton Manning vs. Tom Brady is always worth tuning into. The Colts lost a close game a year ago in Foxboro and will attempt to get revenge in prime time.
Week Fourteen

Week Sixteen
16 of 17
Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers
This game will have it all this late in the season. It will most likely have playoff implications as these two divisional rivals face off in prime time.
Jay Cutler and the Bears against Aaron Rodgers and the Packers easily make the best game of the week.
Week Seventeen
17 of 17
San Diego Chargers vs. Oakland Raiders
This year the NFL will have a full slate of games on New Yearโs Day. Shake off the hangover and enjoy the game between the Raiders and the Chargers. The Raiders swept the Bolts in 2010 and could clinch a playoff spot in the last game of the year.
The game of the week may be different depending on who your favorite team is, but its good to be talking about football on the field once again.
