Updated NFL Fantasy Football Rankings, Week 14: Top 30 TEs for the Rest of 2010
While San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis had a huge game that included 126 yards and a touchdown in Week 13, he has simply not seemed to get as good of a connection going with Troy Smith as he had with Alex Smith. Thankfully for him, Alex Smith will be returning to the lineup this week—something that may only benefit Vernon Davis, who he has targeted many times in the past.
Cleveland Browns tight end Benjamin Watson had the biggest game of his 2010 season last week as his Browns knocked off the Miami Dolphins. Watson’s 10 catches for 100 yards and a touchdown are not only a great sign that he is the top receiving option in this offense, but the hip injury to his only competition, Evan Moore, may make him an even better option going forward.
His value shoots up six spots this week to eighth among tight ends and he could very well continue to rise as he faces a very weak Buffalo defense this weekend.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Baltimore Ravens tight end Todd Heap has been having one of the best seasons of his career in 2010, but injuries continue to be his biggest downfall. Heap pulled up with a hamstring injury during the Ravens’ loss Sunday night to the Steelers.
Reports are that Heap is questionable for Monday night’s game against the Texans, but even if he does play, a hamstring injury is the type that can keep a player moving enough to get into the game, but not healthy enough to be a fantasy asset.
Play it safe this week with Heap and find another option at tight end. His value is down significantly—10 spots in fact—for the rest of the season. It’s just hard to believe that an oft-injured player like Todd Heap is going to fight through an injury and remain a fantasy force.
