Tampa Bay Bucs Mock Draft: B/R Community Top 100 and 7-Round Results
Welcome to the 2015 Tampa Bay Bucs mock draft, Bleacher Report edition.
This year, we changed the format up a bit. This is a true community mock draft, at least through the first 100 picks. Writers from each team made their team picks, which you will see.
The rest of the draft (Rounds 4-7), you will only see the Bucs' selections, that is, unless you go to another B/R team site, which you are more than welcome to do.
With that, the Tampa Bay Bucs are on the clock.
While we wait for any last-second phone calls asking for the pick, we know the Bucs were lacking in three main areas last season: quarterback, offensive line and pass rush.
After a 2-14 season, fans are ready for something to get happy about with this team.
The anticipation has only been heightened because the Bucs enter the draft with the top pick and three in the top 65 selections.
It was important for me to find a good offensive lineman who is ready to start and a defensive rusher who could land in the rotation.
Let's get to it.
And with the first selection in the 2015 B/R mock draft, the Tampa Bay Bucs select...
Round 1
1 of 7
No. 1: JAMEIS WINSTON, QB, Florida State
After Lovie Smith and the Tampa Bay Bucs' disastrous 2-14 first season, it was evident the team still needed a lot of pieces in order to be competitive. No missing piece was more glaring than at the quarterback spot, and Winston settles that for many years to come.
There was no doubt to most experts that on the field, Winston had no peers in the quarterback field. The Bucs had to decide whether his off-the-field troubles were more of a loose cannon or lack of maturity. After meeting with Winston and scores of people who know him, the Bucs will put their trust in this kid.
It’s a solid gamble.
He can make all the throws, is football savvy, competitive and doesn’t get rattled easily. He is a franchise quarterback; a characteristic the Bucs may have never had before.
His high interception total from last year comes from working with a young receiving corp. He will have a veteran in Vincent Jackson, a Rookie of the Year finalist in Mike Evans and a solid tight end (Austin Seferian-Jenkins) to throw to. Plus, offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter has had success with young quarterbacks (Matt Ryan), so Winston is in good hands.
The Bucs will be as well.

Round 2
2 of 7
No. 34: TY SAMBRAILO, OL, Colorado State
Everyone knows the trouble Tampa Bay had with its offensive line last year. Since the club didn’t make any moves in free agency to help the embattled unit, the draft seems to be the logical place to find help.
Sambrailo is a guy who is ready to contribute.
His technique is strong and he is an exceptional run-blocker, something the Bucs lacked in 2014. At 6-foot-6, he has good size and is able to get to the second level to attack linebackers.
He will probably be ready to start at guard right away, but he has experience at right tackle as well.
There were a couple of linemen from the state of Florida who really had me thinking hard. D.J. Humphries from UF has the potential to be a great pro, but I don't think the Bucs have time to wait for someone to grow into this role.
Also, FSU guard Tre' Jackson was there. But he looked out of shape this year, and I can't afford to miss with this pick.
Sambrailo was the surest bet left.

Round 3
3 of 7
No. 65: RASHAD GREENE, WR, Florida State
Tampa Bay’s top two receivers are locked, but the Bucs had trouble finding consistent play out of their third and fourth guys.
Louis Murphy was stepping into that role until an injury sidelined him last year. Rookie Robert Herron struggled.
With the top-tier receivers already gone, why not go with someone whom everyone is familiar with, including your new quarterback.
Enter Greene: who was closer to Winston than the blanket was to Linus.
Greene is not the fastest (4.53) or the biggest receiver (5'11"), but when Winston needed him, he always seemed to get open.
A couple of guys had breakout combines (Auburn's Sammie Coates and Nebraska's Kenny Bell), but if you want consistency, neither one can top Greene.
That can fill a void the Bucs had last year as well as provide their QB with his own personal security blanket.

Round 4
4 of 7
No. 109: MARKUS GOLDEN, DE, Missouri
This is a guy who could become a rotation guy quickly. His motor does not stop. He makes a lot of effort and hustle plays.
Golden is solid in the run game but even more deadly in the pass game where if he can’t get to the quarterback, he has good hand-eye coordination to knock down passes.
He had 10 sacks with three forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries in 2014 on a defense that also had Shane Ray.
With another hustle guy, Jacquies Smith, on the other side, Golden could be the missing piece on a deadly front four for the Bucs.
Round 5
5 of 7
No. 162: JARVIS HARRISON, G, Texas A&M
Playing in the Aggies’ system, you know Harrison is mobile and can move. He has the size and strength to be in the league a long time.
He is able to move people in the run game and is more than solid in pass protection.
His weight (330 pounds) could become an issue, although he would have no choice but to get into shape, thanks to the Florida heat.
When the Bucs were scouting Mike Evans last year, you know Harrison came on their radar. He has the potential to come and challenge for a starting role or at least be a part of the team’s rotation immediately.
Round 6
6 of 7
No. 184: BRYCE CALLAHAN, CB, Rice
The Bucs were not happy with their nickel corners last year. Callahan may be the answer to their concerns.
He’s quick enough to play the shiftier receivers but can also play on the outside if needed. He tracks the ball well in the air, is a good tackler and takes good angles in pursuit.
Now, there will always be people questioning his height (5'10"), but he is a solid Cover 2 cornerback. He can also return punts.
Round 7
7 of 7
No. 218: C.J. UZOMAH, Tight End, Auburn
At 6-foot-5, he fits right in with the rest of the Bucs’ “Dunkaneers” receiving corp. Uzomah had 11 catches in both 2013 and 2014 but had three touchdowns both years and averaged 15.0 yards per catch for his career.
Tampa Bay was thin at tight end last year, so Uzomah would provide depth. He has the ability to play out wide. His 4.63 40 time was impressive during his pro day. He needs to work on his blocking.
No. 231: ANTHONY CHICKILLO, Defensive End, Miami
Durable and good work ethic, Chickillo is a Tampa kid who has done enough of the right things to take a chance on.
He plays the run well and doesn’t take any plays off.
Chickillo could challenge to make the team first on special teams. He has the versatility to play on the outside or inside.
