QB Jay Cutler is a reasonable bet for 4,000 total yards and 25 TDs this season—now that WR Brandon Marshall and offensive coach Jeremy Bates have joined Cutler in Chicago.

Here is an updated look at my presumed-starter fantasy rankings among NFL quarterbacks.

If I was a betting man, I'd wager that John Skelton draws Arizona's opening-day start against Seattle—which I no longer have the strength to fight.

This countdown may undergo one more change before Sept. 5 (Cowboys vs. Giants), but right now, it's a reasonably accurate profile of my preseason rationale.

1. Aaron Rodgers, Packers
2. Drew Brees, Saints
3. Matthew Stafford, Lions
4. Tom Brady, Patriots
5. Cam Newton, Panthers
6. Eli Manning, Giants
7. Michael Vick, Eagles
8. Matt Ryan, Falcons
9. Tony Romo, Cowboys
10. Peyton Manning, Broncos
11. Philip Rivers, Chargers
12. Matt Schaub, Texans
13. Jay Cutler, Bears
14. Ben Roethlisberger, Steelers
15. Carson Palmer, Raiders
16. Ryan Fitzpatrick, Bills
17. Josh Freeman, Buccaneers
18. Joe Flacco, Ravens
19. Andy Dalton, Bengals
20. Andrew Luck, Colts
21. Robert Griffin III, Redskins
22. Mark Sanchez, Jets
23. Alex Smith, 49ers
24. Matt Cassel, Chiefs
25. Sam Bradford, Rams
26. Christian Ponder, Vikings
27. Jake Locker, Titans
28. Blaine Gabbert, Jaguars
29. Brandon Weeden, Browns
30. Russell Wilson, Seahawks
31. John Skelton, Cardinals
32. Ryan Tannehill, Dolphins
