NFL Power Rankings: Denver Broncos and Teams Who'll Shoot Up Rankings
The Detroit Lions have gone from promising NFC powerhouse to a lackluster fringe playoff team. The Denver Broncos have new life with Tim Tebow at the helm and will feed the distracted Lions their third consecutive loss.
The Broncos' last-minute heroics against the Dolphins gives the team a swagger they haven't had all season. The Lions on the other hand are involved in their second consecutive postgame controversy. Their focus is still on their loss against the Falcons, rather than on the Broncos.
The Broncos aren't the only team whose stock is going to go through the roof after this week, though. Here are three teams who'll shoot up the Power Rankings after Week 8.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Denver Broncos
Forget about the Lions' quick 5-0 start, their ferocious defense and their Super Bowl dreams. Their once vaunted offense has been held below 20 points two games in a row at home. While the Broncos surrender 366 yards passing, they'll be able to keep the one-dimensional Lions offense in check.
Ndamukong Suh and Kyle Vanden Bosch have a combined two sacks in their last four games. Von Miller alone has five sacks in that same span. An already banged-up Matthew Stafford isn't going to have a free pass inside the pocket by any means.
The Broncos also have the means to keep Calvin Johnson's production to a dull roar. He's produced over 100 yards in each of the past two weeks and still rendered a losing result. As long as the Broncos can avoid costly turnovers, they can't catch the Lions sleeping and distance themselves from the NFL's bottom feeders.
The Bengals are easy to write off. With a rookie quarterback, an overachieving defense and a semi-soft schedule, it's hard to buy into the Bengals. After they jump to a 5-2 record, it's going to be impossible to push them to the wayside.
The Seahawks gave the Falcons a scare, took down the Giants on the road and lost to the Browns in a 3-6 "battle." They're all over the place, and the Bengals will make quick of them while they struggle offensively and continue to fail to establish an identity.
The Bengals defense is ranked in the top five in pass defense and run defense. The Seahawks have the second worst offense in the league. Easy win for the Bengals, who have an easy win after their bye.
Remember after Week 3 when the Chiefs were pegged as the favorites to win the "Suck for Luck" race? It's bizarre to think that they'll have a winning record going into Week 9. They are 3-3 right now, and after taking down the grossly overrated San Diego Chargers, they'll be seen as an AFC West contender.
The Chargers narrowly escaped the Chiefs last time around, winning by a field goal in San Diego. This time around, the game is going to be played at Arrowhead, where a wave of unforeseen optimism has infiltrated the home fanbase.
The Chargers haven't beaten a team with a winning record this season. With Jackie Battle getting the run game going again, Dwayne Bowe hitting his stride and amassing 100 or more yards and three touchdowns in his last three games and the defense coming off a shutout win over the Raiders, the Chargers are doomed to drop to 1-3 on the road this season.
