NFL Power Rankings: Top 5 Safe from Upsets in Week 6
There is nothing better for the sport than seeing the mighty fall. Week 6 will be fairly dull as the top five in the league are guaranteed to cruise into next week.
It's a good thing too. With the Jets, Eagles and Bears failing to hold up to their end of the bargain, the top five looks much different from what we thought it would at the beginning of the season.
No matter. These clubs are as stout as they come. After a few weeks of play, we have identified the real winners from the lackluster squads that are spiraling down the rankings.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Issues in the secondary be damned. The best team in the NFL is taking on the worst in the St. Louis Rams. This will be what cakewalks should look like.
The Buccaneers have looked shaky on offense last weekend. That sort of problems never seems to be an issue with the Saints.
The middling Bucs defense is store for a walloping on Sunday. Drew Brees rolls into town with one of the best passing games in the biz.
The Cowboys will bring their A-game, which still can't hold a candle to the Patriots B-game. The Pats continue to have issues with their secondary, but it won't matter.
Teams have been trying to play catchup with Tom Brady all season. I don't see Tony Romo and this inconsistent offense having the stomach for such a game.
The Lions will be contained at the line, so no Jahvid Best bursts this weekend. However, the Niners will allow Matthew Stafford to get quite comfortable. That is more than I can say for Alex Smith who will be forced from the pocket all game.
The poor Houston Texans are getting hit hard by the injury bug. The Ravens will have a little more room to operate with Mario Williams sidelined for the rest of the season.
The Ravens are unrelenting on both sides of the ball. A couple weeks ago I would have this game as a close one. I just think the Texans are too banged up to compete for four quarters.
By the end of Sunday, the top five will skip out of the weekend unscathed. That has been a rare sight during this wacky season.
