NFL Power Rankings: Which Teams Have Best Shots at Undefeated 2011 Season?
It sounds kind of like a lame cliche, but obviously the goal in any sport is to win.
And with winning in mind, shouldn't every team idealistically want to go undefeated every year?
Yes, it is much easier said than done, and definitely the most difficult task, but losing should never cross one's mind at any point, if they want to win regardless.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
So, after Week 1 of the NFL season, we were lucky enough to avoid any ties, leaving half of the league 0-1, and the other 1-0.
Of those remaining 1-0 organizations, here are the ones who have the best shot at getting onto the same pedestal as the 1972 Miami Dolphins.
When the Ravens hosted the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 1, it was expected, as always, to be a defensive slug fest, and also come down to the wire.
Well, to make a long story short, that was not the case as Baltimore completely blasted The Steel Curtain, 35-7.
And if the Steelers are still considered to be the Super Bowl-contending team they usually are, and the Ravens continue to dominate like this, we could very well see them going 16-0.
The rest of schedule plays out with only three tough games, home against the Jets in early October, at Pittsburgh in early November, and at San Diego in mid-December.
Needless to say, the schedule is in their favor with the three toughest games separated about as far as they can be.
Based on how well Aaron Rogers and the Packers' offense performed against an NFC championship-contending team in New Orleans, it's a foregone conclusion to think that anyone can stop Green Bay.
And although the defense was picked apart very well by Saints QB Drew Brees, the only other QB the cheese will see up to his caliber this season is San Diego's Philip Rivers.
Atlanta's Matt Ryan is still a few steps back of Brees, and Detroit's Matthew Stafford has yet to play a full season—plus the Packers don't see the Lions until Thanksgiving Day.
All this said, you know Clay Matthews is going to get this defense back to normal and the injury to DB Tramon Williams appears to be not as serious as first thought.
If the Packers can win their game at San Diego, which is just after their bye-week, perfection is quite possible.
Now think about it.
They won it all with 15 guys on the IR, and then when the Packers repeat, they go perfect.
That would easily make the 2011 Green Bay Packers the single greatest team to ever exist by a long-shot.
