Poor matchups will kill your fantasy team every week. You must pay attention to who your players are matched up against in order to succeed.

Whether it be a good running back up against a tough run defense, or a quarterback against a tough pass defense, you have to be aware.

Here are five players you must sit this weekend.

5: DeAngelo Williams

Carolina Panther running back DeAngelo Williams has been a non-factor so far this season, and that will probably continue on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Williams has only 17 carries for just 43 yards so far this season. He has been a huge disappointment to fantasy football owners.

The Panthers appear to be a pass-heavy offense with Cam Newton, and that does not please DeAngelo Williams owners. Also, Jonathon Stewart has been involved in more of the offense than Williams.

The Jaguars are also built to stop the run. Sit DeAngelo Williams this week.

4: Steven Jackson

Steven Jackson is usually a must-start every single week. However, he is a must-sit this week.

Steven Jackson is still suffering from the quadricep injury that has been nagging him for weeks. He will be limited on Sunday, even if he does play.

If Jackson does play, he will have the difficult task of taking on the terrifying Baltimore Ravens' defense. Steven Jackson is not a safe play this week.

3: Sidney Rice

The Seattle Seahawks expect this week to be the one where Sidney Rice makes his season debut. He is still has lingering injuries, but he will play.

It is his first game back, he is still injured and he does not have a good quarterback...do not start Sidney Rice unless you are in a deep league.

2: Eli Manning

The New York Giants offense has been struggling to find its identity. They are having trouble running and passing. They miss Steve Smith and Kevin Boss, and their offensive line is not holding up well.

Not everything is Eli Manning's fault, but he is struggling as well. He has not delivered for his fantasy owners, and probably will not this week against the tough Philadelphia Eagle's secondary.

Against Nnamdi Asoumgha, Asante Samuel, and Dominque Rodgers-Cromartie..Sit Eli this week.

1: Anyone on the Indianpolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts are B-A-D BAD without Peyton Manning. With Peyton, they are a Super Bowl contender. Without Peyton, they might be the worst team in football.

They go against the Pittsburgh Steelers this week. Do not start a single Colt this week in fantasy football. This game is going to get ugly.
