NFL Power Rankings Week 2: Are Colts or Chiefs NFL's Worst Team?
Everyone knew the Indianapolis Colts were going to struggle without quarterback Peyton Manning, but I'm not sure we knew just how bad they would look. The Colts were awful in their 34-7 loss to the Houston Texans, but they may not have had the worst showing in Week 1.
The Kansas City Chiefs are the defending AFC West champions and much was expected of them. Then they came out and got blasted at home by the Buffalo Bills. The 41-7 loss to the Bills was awful on so many levels, plus Kansas City lost Pro Bowl safety Eric Berry for the season thanks to a torn ACL.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Right now not much separates the two teams and their horrendous performances from Week 1. As it stands right now neither team looks likely to get better any time soon.
The Chiefs turned the ball over three times and finished with just 213 total yards. Quarterback Matt Cassel had a horrible afternoon, completing 22-of-36 passes for 119 yards, with one touchdown and an interception. Cassel's average of 3.3 yards per attempt might be the lowest I've ever seen.
In addition to an awful day offensively, the Chiefs gave up 364 yards to a Bills offense that was 25th in the NFL in yards per game last season. Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is currently the NFL's highest rated passer (133.0) after torching Kansas City for four touchdowns.
While the Colts also looked similarly awful, they actually lost to a very good Houston team. The Texans racked up 384 total yards on a porous Indianapolis defense, but Houston is capable of that type of production every week. Comparing opponents isn't the best way to determine things, but it's really all we have at this point.
I have the Colts and the Chiefs as the two teams who looked the worst in Week 1. The Chiefs did so at home against what should be a pretty awful Bills team. The Colts were on the road against a Houston squad primed for a playoff run.
Sorry Chiefs fans, I've got your team at the bottom after one week of football.
