Giants vs. Patriots: TV Schedule, Live Streaming, Radio, Game Time and More
When the New York Giants head to Foxborough to play the New England Patriots on Thursday, the one thing that we are guaranteed to see is a highlight of Plaxico Burress catching the game-winning touchdown pass from Eli Manning in Super Bowl 42.
Other than that, we will probably not see a whole lot of Manning or Tom Brady in this game.
These two teams are expected to compete for division titles this season, so this game will be about getting out of it with as many healthy bodies as possible.

Giants' Key Addition
The most important position on the offensive line is the center position because he has the most interaction with the quarterback and must be able to handle all the nuances of the signal caller.
David Baas is not an elite center, but he is consistent at the very least. He has played in at least 15 games every season since 2006, and has started every game the last two seasons. He will upgrade an already solid offensive line
Patriots' Key Addition
As good as Tom Brady was last season, the one thing missing from his arsenal of weapons was a legitimate downfield option. Chad Ochocinco may not be the dominant receiver that he once was, but if he can be 85 percent of what he used to be the Patriots offense should be better than it was last year.
Giants' Biggest Loss
Barry Cofield did not get a lot of credit for being a presence in the middle of the Giants defensive line, but losing him to the Redskins will have a major impact on that defense. He was the big body that took up extra defenders and allowed guys like Osi Umenyiora and Justin Tuck to get to the quarterback.
Patriots' Biggest Loss
Ty Warren is not the player he once was, but for a team that had issues with size on the defensive line his presence will be missed by this team. The Patriots released Warren to make room for Albert Haynesworth, which has to make Warren feel really special.
What They Are Saying
Giants head coach Tom Coughlin has seen his team decimated by injuries throughout the preseason and he has another one to deal with thanks to running back Ahmad Bradshaw.
Coughlin was asked about his star running back at a fan festival at MetLife Stadium and had this to say:
"He's doing all right," Coughlin said. "I'm a little bit concerned about this 'lingering' business. But it's not anything that I'm told is a real issue."
Tom Brady was on WEEI Radio in Boston on Monday and addressed a number of topics, including the development of Chad Ochocino in the Patriots offense.
""...He and I, we’re always in communication. I have a lot of confidence in Chad as a competitor—in the short time that I’ve been with him, he’s really fun to be around, he really loves playing the game, and he’s going to be an exciting player. I’ve got no doubt about that."

Giants Player To Watch
The Giants secondary has been decimated by injuries so far this preseason, so Aaron Ross' performance becomes that much more critical for this team to have success in 2011. He will be the No. 1 cornerback for the time being and must make the most of his time.
Patriots Player To Watch
This is a copout answer but everyone on the Patriots' defensive line is under the microscope in this game. The Patriots are coming off a blowout loss to Detroit and the defensive line was not heard from at all. The defensive line was the problem for this team last year and it doesn't look good so far this year.
Matchup To Watch
The players in the trenches don't get as much attention as they should, but that will not be the case in this game. The Giants offensive line against the Patriots defensive line is the matchup that will decide who wins this game.
The Patriots have to create pressure with their defensive line or else the secondary will get eaten alive by all the Giants wide receivers.
Giants' Position Battle
With Osi Umenyiora out for the start of the regular season, Jason Pierre-Paul is going to be given an opportunity to prove that he can handle a starting role. If he does well, the team could make Umenyiora expendable before the trade deadline to try and upgrade a position of need.
Patriots' Position Battle
The Patriots need to settle on a starter at defensive end. There are a number of options to choose from with Andre Carter, Gerard Warren and Shaun Ellis all in the mix. For a defensive line with so many question marks, this will be a critical decision for Bill Belichick.
Key Storyline
Both teams have questions they need answered, unfortunately none of the key players will likely be around long enough to give us those answers. The Patriots offensive and defensive lines need to have a good game after getting picked apart against Detroit last week.
