The 49ers have always had talent on offense. This year, even more so.

After the addition of Braylon Edwards and analyzing the other teams in the NFC west, it is clear the 49ers have the most offensive weapons in the west.

Believe me, the Seahawks, Cardinals and Rams are aware of it. It's time that the faithful take a second to breathe it in.

Let’s take a look at the offensive weapons in San Francisco.

Delanie Walker

Delanie Walker is a freak athlete and has the potential to be a great tight end.

Walker is one of the fastest in the league and on any other team he would already be the No. 1 tight end.

With the hands and speed of a wide receiver, look for Walker to contribute even more this year for the 49ers.

Joshua Morgan

Joshua Morgan (formally known as Josh) has been the No. 2 receiver for the 49ers for the last two years. This year (because of the new additions) he will most likely play in the slot, which seems like the natural position for Morgan.

Last year Morgan averaged over 16 yards per-catch. Look for Morgan to dominate the slot this year.

Michael Crabtree

There is no doubt Michael Crabtree has had issues with his health and production in San Francisco. But there should also be no doubt that Michael Crabtree has tremendous talent. No. 1 receiver talent. And although his production has yet to live up to those abilities, I believe that is all about to change.

With the recent addition of Braylon Edwards, Crabtree will most likely move over to the second spot for the 49ers. There are not many teams in the NFL who can handle Crabtree with their second corner. And there are none in the NFC West.

On top of that, Harbaugh’s coaching style and playbook seems to be what Crabtree has needed. He has apparently been all in, in San Francisco.

If he can get, and stay healthy, look for big things from Michael Crabtree this year.

Braylon Edwards

Not since Terrell Owens have the 49ers had a receiver of Braylon Edwards stature, power and receiving ability. If he can get focused on football, Braylon has the potential to fight with Larry Fitzgerald for dominion in the NFC West.

Edwards is a remarkable talent, and if Harbaugh can get his head right, the faithful should have a lot to cheer about this year.

Vernon Davis

Vernon Davis is the best tight end in the business.

It’s well-noted that Vernon Davis is the favorite target of both Alex Smith and Colin Kaepernick in camp this year. This season will be the best of Vernon’s career so far.

Frank Gore

Frank Gore has been the centerpiece to the 49ers offense for years. A tireless beast between the tackles. When everyone expects a run up the middle, the 49ers would run up the middle and Frank Gore would manage to succeed anyways.

Look for Frank Gore to break the 49ers All-Time Rushing Record this year with the help of an offensive mind in Jim Harbaugh.

Conclusion

The NFC West is one of the least-talented divisions in the league. The 49ers have been the most-talented team in that division for quite some time. They now have even more talent then ever before, and a coach and playbook that should bring out the best in that talent.

Last week, Cardinals, Seahawks and Ram’s fans were salivating on the 49ers weak free-agency period. This week, it’s probably a different story.

The 49ers, without question, have the most offensive weapons in the division.
