The 7 NFL Players Kansas City Chiefs Fans Hate the Most
Every NFL team's fanbase has a select number of players who they hate from opposing squads.
The Kansas City Chiefs are no exception, as they have had many hated opponents, both in the past and in the present.
Does the name Bill Romanowski or Champ Bailey ring a bell?
Here is my version of Chiefs fans' most hated current NFL players.
Champ Bailey
1 of 7The Broncos cornerback is known as one of the biggest trash-talkers currently in the league.
In a Monday night game several years ago, he was mic'd up and was literally trashing the entire Chiefs team throughout the game.
It doesn't make things better for Chiefs fans when you consider that Bailey has also been one of the best players at his position over the past 10 seasons.
Philip Rivers
2 of 7The Chargers star QB has been hated for KC fans everywhere ever since he came into the league back in 2004.
He has made a living picking apart Chiefs defenses over the past few years and has done it very easily in some occasions.
His temper tantrums that he likes to throw during some games, like the one he did against the Chiefs in Week 1 of the 2010 season, is just another reason for Chiefs fans to hate this guy.
Joey Porter
3 of 7Joey Porter is not exactly a fan favorite of any NFL fanbase, let alone the Chiefs.
Like Champ Bailey, he is a big trash-talker, and this doesn't usually sit well with opposing fans.
Last season, he tried to trash Chiefs players by taunting them before his Cardinals took on KC at Arrowhead.
Good move, Joey.
Sebastian Janikowski
4 of 7The longtime Raiders kicker has been a thorn in the side of Chiefs fans for over a decade now.
He has made numerous clutch kicks against KC over his superb 11-year NFL career.
Last season, he made a 33-yard field goal in overtime to help his Raiders prevail against Kansas City once again.
For Chiefs fans, it just seems like Janikowski has been in Oakland forever and will never go away.
Peyton Manning
5 of 7Unlike some others on this list, Peyton Manning is not hated by Chiefs fans because of how acts towards them.
He is hated more because of how many times he has burned Chiefs defenses in the regular season and playoffs in recent memory.
Manning is 7-1 all-time against KC, and he has a good chance of making that 8-1 when his team plays Kansas City this season.
Chiefs fans like Manning as a player, just not when he is going against their team.
Nnamdi Asomugha
6 of 7Once again, this another player that is mainly hated by KC fans because of his dominance on the field.
Asomugha has shut down numerous Chiefs receivers over the years, and they would be very happy if he were to sign with a team outside of the AFC West division for the '11 season.
Chiefs nation would be thrilled if they did not have see No. 21 in the Raiders defensive backfield in the coming years.
Jacoby Ford
7 of 7The phrase "speed kills" works very well when talking about Raiders WR/KR/PR Jacoby Ford.
He owned the Chiefs last season with two big plays when the two teams squared off in Oakland, which helped seal the win for the Raiders.
He is easily the fastest player in the AFC West right now and could be moving his way up the hate charts for Chiefs fans in the next few seasons.
