NFL Free Agency: When Will Each Team's Most Important Player Hit the Market?

With a potential free agent signing period set to begin a week after a deal may be reached July 21, many players will be on the move.

That often leaves fans wondering when their team's most valuable player will be hitting the free agent market.

Some teams have locked up their best player in a long-term contract, while others will be seeing their MVP hitting the market soon.

When will the league's best players be entering free agency?

32. Washington Redskins: DB DeAngelo Hall

DeAngelo Hall signed a six-year, $55 million contract in February of 2009.

His contract includes $22.5 million guaranteed.

After making $9 million in 2014, DeAngelo Hall will become a free agent in 2015.

31. Seattle Seahawks: LB Aaron Curry

In August of 2009, Aaron Curry agreed to a six-year, $60 million deal that includes $34 million guaranteed.

The end of year of his contract is 2014, making him an unrestricted free agent in 2015.

30. Tennessee Titans: RB Chris Johnson

Prior to the 2008 season, Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson signed a 5-year deal worth $12 million.

He is also guaranteed $7 million.

After earning $2,210,000 in 2012, he'll become an unrestricted free agent in 2013.

29. Minnesota Vikings: DE Jared Allen

After being traded from the Kansas City Chiefs to the Minnesota Vikings in April 2008, Jared Allen signed a six-year, $73.26 million deal, which was the richest contract for a defensive player in NFL history at the time.

He is guaranteed $31 million and received a $15.5 million signing bonus.

Jared Allen is scheduled to earn $14.28 million in 2013, then he will become an unrestricted free agent in 2014.

28. Cincinnati Bengals: QB Carson Palmer

While there have been numerous rumors that Carson Palmer will never play another down for the Cincinnati Bengals, he is still under contract with the team.

He is in the midst of a six-year, $118.75 million deal that runs through 2014.

As an incentive, Carson Palmer received a $15 million signing bonus.

He's scheduled to make $14 million in 2014 and will become an unrestricted free agent in 2015.

27. Jacksonville Jaguars: RB Maurice Jones-Drew

He received a $17.5 million signing bonus.

26. Buffalo Bills: WR Lee Evans

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Lee Evans agreed to a 4-year deal worth $37.25 million that runs through the 2012 season.

He is scheduled to receive $18.25 million in guaranteed money.

Lee Evans will become an unrestricted free agent in 2013.

Steve Smith's situation is similar to that of Carson Palmer.

He has expressed his desire to be traded and has said that he does not plan on ever playing for the Carolina Panthers again.

However, because of the lockout, Steve Smith remains under contract with the team.

He is in the midst of a six-year, $43.85 million deal that included a $9.3 million signing bonus.

After earning $7.75 million in 2012, Steve Smith will become an unrestricted free agent in 2013.

24. Denver Broncos: CB Champ Bailey

Champ Bailey, considered by many to be the best cornerback in the league, is signed through the 2014 season.

He recently signed a four-year, $43 million contract that includes $15 million guaranteed.

Champ Bailey is set to become an unrestricted free agent in 2015.

23. Oakland Raiders: RB Darren McFadden

Darren McFadden signed a six-year, $60 million contract after being selected by the Oakland Raiders in the 2008 NFL Draft.

The deal includes $26 million guaranteed.

He is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent in 2014.

San Francisco 49ers linebacker Patrick Willis signed a five-year contract extension last spring that is worth $50 million.

That extension made him the NFL's highest paid linebacker.

He also is scheduled to receive $29 million in guarantees.

Patrick Willis will become an unrestricted free agent in 2013.

17. St. Louis Rams: RB Steven Jackson

St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson is currently signed through the 2013 season.

His contract is a six-year, $44.8 million deal with $20.5 in guaranteed money.

The final two years of his contract (2012, 2013) will be voided if he has averaged 1,200 rushing yards and 400 receiving yards in the first four years.

Steven Jackson will become an unrestricted free agent in 2014 if the final two years of his contract are not voided.
