The storm is brewing in a Northern California as the Oakland Raiders look forward to the end of an NFL Lockout. Not only as far as the lockout is concerned but also excitement!! The Silver and Black has been on the rise since the departure of the late QB JaMarcus Russell and the arrival of new Head Coach Hue "Action " Jackson!.

The Oakland Raiders have not only improved their game they have put up some amazing numbers. Running back Darren McFadden had an explosive season as he trampled through every team the Raiders played. The offensive front played well enough to open the holes and QB Jason Campbell stepped up to take leadership of a team that had been injured when JaMarcus Russell simply failed all around.

The Oakland Raiders under head coach Tom Cable were able to take the AFC West with a perfect 6-0 record. This season Tom Cable is no longer but his understudy Hue Jackson has been given charge and should have a powerful season in 2011. This  prediction is due to the fact that Hue Jackson was the offensive coach last season and the team was competitive. The defense has always been stable and gained ground when they signed Richard Seymour.

So how can the Raiders have an exemplary performance in 2011? This will be done by disarming their AFC West nemesis and taking out teams outside their division.

Lets look at opposing weapons for the AFC West. In San Diego the main threat there is the vertical game. WR Vincent Jackson has returned and is a great player. In fact, the receiving corp for the Chargers is good. QB River Phoenix, excuse me, Phillip Rivers is also a good QB. But once again ..pressure. The Oakland Raiders were able to defeat San Diego last season by stopping the run and putting pressure on the QB. It was a win both times and this season should be no different.

The confidence has been established by last season and having experienced the San Diego line, head coach Hue Jackson will more than likely pound the San Diego Chargers by clock management. That is to run it right down their throats with RB Darren McFadden and Michael Bush who loves Charger meat also. This should also return the favor when the Chargers had RB LaDanlian Tomlinson. LT put some hurt on the Raiders but baby, its PAYBACK TIME! Its going to be nice to watch  in 2011.

Next victim is the underachieving Kansas City Chiefs who are basically unstable now. QB Matt Cassell and Dwayne Bowe are stellar players but have yet to find themselves. With issues in the coaching department the Chiefs, who shocked everyone by taking the division and yet crumpled before millions, the Chiefs are not ready to step up in the playoffs. The Oakland Raiders humiliated them prior to the playoffs and they never recovered from the embarrassment. A solid defense will once again decimate the Chiefs in 2011. Twice

Lastly is the Denver Broncos. Denver was smart enough to pick up QB Tim Tebow who I feel is a great QB. The guy is solid and all heart. I would have loved to see him play as a Raider but at this point we have the level headed Jason Campbell who will basically pick this team apart in 2011. How so? Well, when the Oakland Raiders went to Denver last season and put the hurt to the Broncos, it was done by punishing the defensive front.

RB Darren Mcfadden scored four TDs and ran anywhere he wanted to make the game historic for both leagues. In fact all the RBs for the Silver and Black got TDs. 59-14 was a total blowout and embarrassment for the Broncos and Tim Tebow was there to take some of the thrashing. Odds are there will be after shocks and he will quiver at the site of a hungry Richard Seymour and Tommy Kelly.  Oh yeah and Kamerion Wimbley!

Since that game and entering 2011, the Denver Broncos will be studying McFadden and the offensive line of the Silver and Black. In doing so they will become victims of the "Bomb". Hue Jackson was able to make Joe Flacco a throwing animal as he  hurled the Baltimore Ravens into playoff contention. Same scenario. While looking for a ground attack the Broncos will get assaulted by QB Jason Campbell.

I have only mentioned the AFC West teams as the Raiders can legitimately run the AFC West again. the big game outside the division is New England. Yes Raider Nation, bring out the silverware because QB Tom Brady and the Patriots are coming to Oakland and former Pat, Richard Seymour is gonna prove to the world that he wasn't as old as they thought when they released him. The Patriots have been in a nose-dive since the team has..well aged and dismembered. They are as good as cooked in Oakland  provided.. the secondary  does their job.

Other than that the defense will take Tom Brady out of the picture. Mark this writers words. Richard Seymour is gonna have his best game in 2011 against his former team. It nice to bleed Silver and Black. Go Raiders
