Miami Dolphins: Chad Henne Is Glad the Fins Didn't Draft a Quarterback
Over the past season, various Dolphins fans (DolFans!) have expressed grief with Chad Henne as Miami's starting quarterback. Not only has his vision been streaky the past two years, but every Dolphin fan also worries about the dude's confidence level, which has a profound impact on how any athlete performs in his or her respective sport.
Of course, some of this uncertainty may be confirmed, with Henne's confidence level seeming kind of low. From the Examiner:
"If you looked up the words swagger or confident in the dictionary, you might see pictures ofย Drew Brees,ย Matt Ryanย or evenย Eli Manningย next to them.
But Dolphinsโ quarterbackย Chad Henneโs mug would be nowhere in sight.
Henne told the Miami Herald late last week heโs glad the Miami Dolphins did not select a quarterback in last monthโs draft.

Bad call, Chad.ย
This is pretty daunting if you are in any way associated with the Dolphins, whether through fandom or through actual affiliations with the team.
Because the Dolphins have already committed to the dude for this year. They passed on guys like Ryan Mallett to bolster the team that currently surrounds Henne, and for him to say that he's glad he has no competition is horrifyingly mind-bottling.
It's not all bad, though. Even if Chad Henne is a total dud after Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland tried to boost his confidence, there are still enough talented pieces for any not-horrible quarterback to excel.ย
Of course, it's all bad for you, Chad Henne. Better perform, kid, or you might find yourself without a job.ย
