According to Pro Football Talk, we now know why Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning missed Wednesday's antitrust hearing: Manning and his wife Ashley have given birth to twins.

The Manning clan grew by two on March 31, adding Marshall Williams Manning and Mosley Thompson Manning, a boy and girl respectively.

Rumors had been swirling for a few weeks that Manning was a father, but were largely dismissed due to their proximity to April Fool's Day.  Sports 56 in Memphis was the first to report the story, which was picked up on this Vol Nation message board and subsequently forgotten for two weeks, until reports appeared in Radar Online and Stampede Blue.

Certainly an odd affair of fact dismissed as rumor and then re-reported as fact a few weeks later, but now that it has been confirmed, we can start looking ahead to our 2035 NFL Mock Draft to project where Marshall will land.
