NFL Draft 2011: New England Patriots Could Have Cameron Jordan in Their Plans
California defensive end Cameron Jordan is expected to be one of the premiere well-rounded defensive ends in this year's draft.
As the NFL Combine is well underway in Indianapolis, draft prospects meet with the media for the first time as an NFL product.
Jordan, who has met with the media a few times, has mentioned the New England Patriots as being a possible suitor.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
"The Patriots are a phenomenal team," Jordan said.
New England has been missing a top defensive end ever since they traded away Richard Seymour to the Oakland Raiders for this years 17th overall draft pick.
With Oakland's 17th overall pick, New England could very well pick Jordan and he'd be a nice replacement for Seymour.
Jordan appears to fit everything that New England asks out of a player, as Jordan described his mentality to the media Saturday:
"I'm a competitive person...I don't lose."
Jordan would bring a lot of talent to New England's young defense, and could be a possible leader for years to come.
While Jordan is a competitive person, he's a team first kind of guy as well:
"My motto is: Draft me, and I'll play anywhere," Jordan said. "I don't care where I play. I just want to be on the team. I want to play football. That's what I love doing."
Those comments from Jordan should definitely catch Bill Belichick's attention, along with his amazing play at the collegiate level.
Jordan came into the combine standing in at 6'4" and weighting in at 287 pounds. He's very quick with a lot of athleticism to go along with his exceptional strength. He played defensive end in Cal's 3-4 defense, and could very will play outside linebacker or defensive end in New England's 3-4 defense.
According to Scouts Inc., he's rated as the fifth-best defensive end and the 18th best player in the draft—conveniently, New England sits at 17th overall.
Only time will tell what New England will do with their draft picks, but Jordan would be a perfect fit as a Patriot.
