Bears Upset Vikings on Monday Night Football
- Jay Cutler and the Chicago Bears upset their heavily favored division rivals, the Minnesota Vikings, 20-10, on Monday Night Football. In his return to the Bears' lineup, Cutler threw for 252 yards and a touchdown.

Jamie Collins Traded to the Browns
- "We are always looking for ways to improve our roster by acquiring talent and the trade deadline sometimes grants you that opportunity," Cleveland Browns executive vice president of football operations Sashi Brown said, per a team release. "Jamie Collins is a talented-tough-young-playmaker that our coaches and personnel staff think can be a great fit for our defense."

Jalen Hurd Leaving Tennessee
- Tennessee Volunteers running back Jalen Hurd informed head coach Butch Jones of his intentions to transfer and switch positions at his new school. Hurd has 3,127 yards from scrimmage and 26 total touchdowns in his three seasons with Tennessee.

Andre Johnson Retires from the NFL
- "Going back to his days at the University of Miami, Andre was one of the most impressive wide receivers I’ve scouted," Tennessee Titans general manager Jon Robinson said, per Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official website. "He had a professional approach to the game both on and off the field and in my opinion is one of the best to have played the game."

Knile Davis Released by Packers
- Two weeks after trading a conditional draft pick to the Kansas City Chiefs for Knile Davis, the Green Bay Packers released Davis on Monday. The team announced the decision on Twitter. Davis logged five yards on five carries during his time with Green Bay.
