- On Tuesday, the Green Bay Packers traded for Kansas City Chiefs running back Knile Davis. The Chiefs tweeted: "Roster Move: We have traded running back Knile Davis to the Green Bay Packers for an undisclosed draft pick."

New York Jets Wide Receiver Eric Decker Undergoes Surgery
- New York Jets wide receiver Eric Decker underwent surgery on his injured hip Monday. Eric Allen of the Jets' official website reported that Decker is expected to make a full recovery over the next six months.

Big 12 Memo Reportedly Told Schools to Say Expansion Decision Was Unanimous
- "When presidents get in a room and read the tea leaves that it's going the way it's going, they go with it," ESPN's Brett McMurphy reported. "Even if there were 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 [schools in favor of expansion], those presidents are very skilled in seeing the inevitability of the outcome and aligning on the right side of history."

San Francisco 49ers Running Back Carlos Hyde Sidelined with Shoulder Injury
- San Francisco 49ers running back Carlos Hyde, who leads the team with 429 yards and six touchdowns, is dealing with a shoulder injury. Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle tweeted: "#49ers RB Carlos Hyde (shoulder) not practicing today; right arm is in a sling."

- Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy could miss "several weeks" with an ankle injury, according to the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Lacy is seeking a second opinion, though, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
