LSU Fires Coach Les Miles
- "The decision to oust Cameron and Miles was made Sunday afternoon in a discussion involving LSU athletic director Joe Alleva, school president F. King Alexander and other university leaders," wrote Ross Dellenger of The Advocate. "A source said Miles met with Alleva between 2:30-3:30 p.m. and took the news of his dismissal well. Alleva was seen being driven to the LSU football complex at 3:40 p.m."

Dez Bryant Sprains Knee in Sunday's Win
- Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is scheduled to have an MRI on Monday to confirm a sprained knee he suffered during Sunday's win over the Chicago Bears, according to ESPN's Ed Werder. "Right now, we're fine with it," said Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, per Jon Machota of the Dallas Morning News.

Minnesota Vikings Want to Restructure Adrian Peterson's Contract
- The Minnesota Vikings and injured running back Adrian Peterson could be at something of an impasse over his contract soon. According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, Minnesota will release Peterson if he's unwilling to restructure his contract for 2017.

Jeremy Langford Leaves Sunday's Game with an Ankle Injury
- Chicago Bears second-year running back Jeremy Langford left Sunday's loss to the Dallas Cowboys with an ankle injury. Following the game, Bears coach John Fox told reporters that he didn't know the severity of the injury, according to Adam Jahns of the Chicago Sun-Times.

Russell Wilson Leaves Sunday's Win with a Knee Injury
- Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson suffered what is believed to be a sprained MCL during Sunday's win over the San Francisco 49ers, according to Albert Breer of The MMQB. "I don't think it's [as] severe as it looked," Wilson said, per the Seahawks' Twitter account. "I have good mobility. ... You always feel better when you win."
