Odell Beckham Jr. Will Donate $500K to Repair Fields Damaged in Louisiana Floods

  • Odell Beckham, Jr. announced on Twitter that he will donate the first $500,000 spent on his color-rush uniform to repair damaged football fields in Louisiana. The former LSU standout is a native of Baton Rouge.

Georgia Running Back Nick Chubb Injures Ankle Against Ole Miss

  • Nick Chubb, the star running back for the Georgia Bulldogs, left Saturday's game against Ole Miss with an ankle injury. Marc Weiszer of the Athens Banner-Herald reported that Chubb is "out for now." Coach Kirby Smart told reporters after the game that Chubb's injury was a sprained ankle, per Jason Butt of the Telegraph.

Clay Matthews Ruled Out Against the Detroit Lions

  • The Green Bay Packers star linebacker Clay Matthews was ruled out for Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions. He's dealing with injuries to his ankle and hamstring. Green Bay announced the decision on its website on Saturday.

Damien Harris Suffers Ankle Injury

  • Alabama running back Damien Harris, who leads the Crimson Tide with 345 rushing yards this season, left Saturday's game against Kent State with an ankle injury. Following the game, Alabama head coach Nick Saban told reporters that Harris is day-to-day.

  • Christian McCaffrey's Stanford Cardinal pulled out a surprisingly low-scoring game against the UCLA Bruins by scoring 13 points in the final 24 seconds of the fourth quarter. Solomon Thomas put the game on ice with a defensive touchdown after recovering a fumble forced by Joey Alfieri.
