Latest on Gilmore's Recovery

Gilmore, who also had his labrum repaired last year, indicated he "will be fine," per Josina Anderson of ESPN.
Gilmore Struggling to Stay Healthy in NFL
After starting all 16 games during his rookie season, Gilmore has been bitten by the injury bug in 2013 and 2014. A fracture in his wrist sidelined him two years ago, and he spent the following year recovering from offseason hip surgery and a groin issue.
In terms of on-field performance, Gilmore was a bit of a mixed bag in his first three seasons in the league.
Ryan was confident in September that Gilmore was on the verge of a breakthrough in 2015.
"The days of him not making the Pro Bowl, those days are probably long gone," Ryan said, per Jay Skurski of the Buffalo News.
Achieving that goal will obviously be a little more difficult now after this injury, while Ryan will need to look for another corner to replace the 25-year-old.
Nickell Robey is the most likely option. Robey has worked as the nickel back this year, so the jump to starting corner shouldn't be too big for the third-year veteran. Losing Gilmore is a blow for the Bills but one from which they should be able to recover.
